Voice Recitals are Tuesday, February 22 at Birdville High School Theatre. They begin at 6:30, 7:30, and 8:30. Students should dress up and warm up! I choose shorter recital formats to accommodate busy schedules. Please respect all of the singers and stay for the entire recital.
Solo and Ensemble Contest is Thursday, February 24 at Haltom High School from 4:00-9:30pm. Students will need to arrive 15-20 minutes early and be warmed up. Dress up! The judge can see you! Once a student has sung, they are free to go. Contest schedule will be made available to students on Monday.
Students must have paid all voice, accompanist, and contest fees to participate. We will have a check list of paid accounts on Tuesday evening. You will be able to pay all fees at the recital to bring your account up to date.
Fees: February Voice Bill is OVERDUE. If you have not paid, please add the $10.00 late fee and bring payment to the recital made out to Laura Stevenson,or pay online at
Accompanist Fee is $25.00 made out to Mary Helen Atkins. Please bring this to the recital, if you have not already paid.
Contest Entry Fee is $7.00 per student made out to BHS Choir.
